Sometimes the game doesnt compute a lap from one of our drivers and he lost a lot position, being lapped by a lot of drivers. Is there a way to avoid it? It's happening all the time in 1989 MOD. I'm in America GP and it's the third time that is happening. It's ruining my fun here. Two times I loose podium with Lotus team. Attachments:

Such an error happens when several cars cross the finish line at the same time. I can advise you to watch the race only in TV mode.

No, but the likelihood of glitches will greatly decrease. True, there is one way. You need GPM2 track editor. The end point of overtaking on the main straight should be up to the finish line. But often this will complicate overtaking.

But often this will complicate overtaking. Maybe that's explain why it's really hard to have this problem on mods that mainly use original tracks. To be honest, I don't car about overtakes, since they're almost impossible on the game anyway. I will give a look at track editor. Never did, lost of interest. But using TV looks like helped to avoid it. In tracks that demands too much from engine (original Hockeinhem), and my team have a very poor engine (50HP less), it was happening everytime and with both drivers. TV Mode looked like fix it. Thanks! On these tracks I will use this mod.

I've been cussing with the same problem after starting to play the mods. Only ever happened to me on the new tracks. Next time I open up the game I'll take a look at TV Mode. I never even knew of such a thing, so thanks for the tip. I always just have the track + heli cam open.
