the problem with the green color is, that you need the exactly same color as the original pictures. it dont has do be any green, it has to be the exactly same green the game supports to make driver pictures transparent at the border.

Played the 2020 mod today.
Great work!!! Where the hell did you get those images from? sponsors, drivers, all looks so great!
little question:
why has lewis hamilton only 2/5 rain ability? i think - with verstappen - hes a class of his own. I have no idea why you rated ricciardo higher^^ And maybe Vettel is a bit overrated. But very very great mod. Like how you involved all the big F2 Talents we have this year!
Is it possible that you did the driver skills earlier this year? because you rated Vettel high and Shwartzman over Schumacher. If i did that mod a few month ago i would have do it 100% as you did! Shwartzman drover over Schumacher the first races, since then he gets no feet on the ground, and Schumacher is rushing.

Where the hell did you get those images from? sponsors, drivers, all looks so great! Original pics from Internet, than some magic in Photoshop =) In v1.3 Lewis have 3/5 in rain. Vettel - 3/5 (not 4) in overtaking and Shwartzman concentration decreased on 2/5. I set driver points in the summer, after Styria, then only a few changes (as now). About Schwartzman: he is really faster than Mick, it's just that Prema works more for Schumacher (in my opinion) |

we need to change the news too,about finishing 7-10,it should be in thw points place,but in the news the drivers said the car was too slow,this is so annoying me sometimes when play this mod

The game wasn't translated into many languages at the time of release, only french and german. Fans made an italian and russain patch for the 1998 game which I included in my season updates.

Hi All,
Recently downloaded the 2020 mod and it's great in terms of the teams, drivers, sponsors etc - Meanie has done a great job. I'm having an issue though where the game just crashes out before Australian qualifying meaning I cant make it to any of the actual races. Just wondered if this is a known issue and if there is a fix for it that I could try?
I'm on windows 10, 64 bit, and I installed the 4gb patch over the game too but this doesn't seem to have helped. Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but couldnt find any reference to it.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Replace the current language file eg English.txt with an original 1998 .txt and then load the Austrailian gp. Save and start the game using the 2020 files again.
This worked to fix the game crasing after completing a season, before the Gpw 1.0.0.0 editor was used. Re namining or re numbering the seasons might be the problem.

mh interisting. must be somewhere in the mod.
thats a hell of a job getting the bug out of it. i remember, when i wrote my first mod, i was not able to replace the name "commercial manager" into "kommerz manager" in german. every time i did that, the game crashed. i searched for the reason houndrets of times, but the game did not allowed me to rename that. maybe there is another point in the language file that should not be changed?
i dont had the bug in my 2019 mod. never crashed to me

Thanks for the response and advice, appreciated. I ended up downloading version 1.2 rather than 1.5 and for some reason this works perfectly and doesn't have this problem. However, I'll keep this solution in mind in case this issue arises at the end of the season! Cheers, |

I also tried the 2020 mod v 1.5 and my game crashes every time i try to watch a race. there is some nasty bug in it. fixing it by change the english.txt with the original 1998 one is no solution because then you have mika hakkinen back in the game. changing it back then is interisting, does it realy work then?! i will try it out. i dont know whats the bug

In Photoshop or other graphic editor, save livery as a .bmp file. Also there is a custom season, it contains .psd files for editing liveries, maybe this will help you |
