I'm not sure if this has been discussed/solved before, but I am getting a strange bug.
I CANNOT qualify at certain tracks. This seems a bit random (but happens quite often at Hungaroring for example), but I send my cars out, say do 3 laps and by the end of it I'm still showing dashes by my drivers instead of times. The cars have NOT crashed and have returned safely to the pits! Even if I try a second run, it does the same thing, often knocking 8 of the other cars out at the same time. If I reload the game, and try again it does the same thing, and if I don't do qualifying and simulate it instead, it sometimes completes OK and sometimes not. Most of the time, I just have to accept I can't take part in the race through no fault of my own!
This also happens to the AI drivers that are on the track at the same time as me.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful to hear them.

I think, the deal is in your lap times. Unfortunately the game does not count the lap time less than a minute. You need to slow down your cars by turning off some driver aids.

Is Austria one of these tracks?

I'll try slowing my car down next time this happens, thanks - I do seem to be running a beast at the moment and Carlos Sainz is absolutely flying! Perhaps I'll add some heavier parts as well. Unfortunately, Austria has dropped off the calendar in my current season. Hungaroring is the definite offender, as was Shanghai (can't believe that track was completed in less than a minute?!). Montreal was also a disaster, but I think that was because my drivers took each other out in the race, not due to qualifying failures. EDIT: Yes, it was down to my qualifying times. Just had the same problem in the USA, only way I could qualify was to order my drivers to "Ease Off", remove a couple of driver aids AND fuel the cars with 20 laps of fuel. Thanks for your replies! I've had the same thing happen to me as well. It usually happens later on in your career about 4 or 5 seasons when your car becomes much better and faster. I guess for the 2020 mod we need to make the cars slightly slower so when they do improve over time they don't become so over powered. I could also slow down the a.i on the tracks as well. What's strange is you mentioned Shanghai as I've never had an issue with that track and it's not one of the tracks I made so this makes me think there could be something else going on here?
