Hi All,
I'm trying to get GPW Edit 1.1 working on windows 11.
When I open the program as an administrator, I'm unable to import the .exe file as I get an error asking me to load the program as an administrator.
I am opening it as an administrator but the error keeps occurring, has anyone else had this and if so did you manage to fix it?

i have this error too. I only managed to move the folder with the game to "OneDrive", and only GPW Edit saw the game there.

I haven't used Windows 11 myself, so I don't know what restrictions are now in place vs Windows 10 and GPW Edit.
But generally this sounds like a permissions issue, so you will need to identify a "non-administrative" location where you can put the game folder on your hard drive, so that any standard user can launch GPW Edit with standard permissions, and GPW Edit can modify the games files because the game folder is in a friendly location.
The recommendation to run GPW Edit with admin rights (i.e. right click on the GPW Edit program and select Run as Administrator) is one of the workarounds that I suggest, should your game folder be in an admin-only location. But maybe that's now insufficient on Windows 11?
