I have now deleted the draw.dll file. Unfortunately, the screen has remained the same. Any other suggestions?

Some graphics cards seem to have more trouble with the game than others. I never understood why this was. It could be the underlying graphics chip/driver used on some cards and not others. Did the game work for you with Windows 10 on the same hardware? As it would be interesting to know if it is Windows 11 that is starting to break things that 'we' already fixed. There are generally two options: - use DxWnd to run the game, and it has some settings that could fix the issue for troublesome graphics cards (maybe there is some historical how-to that I wrote up a long time ago on what options you need to select) - or don't use DxWnd and just run the default game. Install the default game, upgrade the game using GPWEdit v1.0 or v1.1 and then paste the ddraw.dll file into the root of the game folder (from github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat if I remember correctly) The screenshots of the fuzzy screen that you see have been an issue for many years and I think it's something to do with how certain graphics card interpret the transparency layer in the image files (tga files). e.g. it interprets the image data as RGB instead of RGBA (red green blue alpha). alpha = transparency/opacity levels Go to github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releasesGo to the latest version - currently github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases/tag/v0.4.0Scroll down to the bottom and download the asset DDrawCompat-v0.4.0.zip which contains the ddraw.dll file

I actually founded a solution for the screen issue on dxwnd. First, you right click the game in dxwnd and click on modify. After you click on the modify button, go straight to the DirectX option and click on ¨Support Offscreen 3d¨. Once you have ticked the option, you can start the game and it should fix the fuzzy screen issue if you watch the race.

Another possible suggestion from the DxWnd experts:
