Hi everyone. I've been working on a remake of the 2002 mod and I'm unable to remove the maps found in the bmp\Locmaps folder. The reason why I need to do this is because the original mod creator already inserted a map and pointer for each team in their backdrop image, making them pointless. If anyone has a solution/alternative for this problem, please say so. Thanks in advance.

I was able to find the original backgrouds and saved them as jpegs for you to convert to tga files. I have only found 1999-02, 2008-09 so far. It's easy to make your own with just a car image and adding a filter to hide any possible image streaching.

Thanks man, but for whatever reason, they crash my game when I try to use them. Yes, I did convert them to .tga before adding them to the tga folder. Did you do anything in particular while making the mod to remove the in-game maps or did you have the same issue I'm having now?

My game aslo crashed. I was able to fix it. - Open a working .tga file
- Import a 2002 jpeg image as a new layer to the tga or drag an image into the image software.
- Export to "1TB.tga". I unticked RLE compression.
I made the original season mods and have the project file backgrounds with out the maps/location added.
For the rest of the seasons, I don't have web space to upload as an other format like .tga so you might need to make them your self, by finding another image of the car from an online search or streching the bmp/carpics to 800x600.
