Well...... what with all the excitement, the Lola's head out to qualify for the Australian GP......  & as expected, fail to qualify miserably. Some 7 seconds off the pace of the pole cars. Lots of work to do.  |

After the disappointment of Melbourne, we flew to Brazil for R2. With some small improvements to the car after doing some deals with other teams, hopes were a little higher. Unlike in real life, we weren't barred from entering the paddock and actually got onto the track!  Sadly, failing to qualify again - though this time, we had company! |

Next year's deals already done! Having signed Fisichella and Diniz for 1998, ditching the old Ford for some Mugen Honda power and making big increases in staff levels and ability. |

Not even sure how this happened.... but we got a top 6 grid slot in qualifying... whilst the other car DNQ. Bizarre. Didn't use Do or Die. |
