Has anyone else just had a car disappear from a race? Not even to be listed in the retirements section - almost as if the car wasn't entered...
If this is a common bug is there a cure???

I've had this in qualifying if my car has been pushed round by a faster team & done an unrealistic time, they then disappear & don't start the race even though they are shown on the grid before the start. Only way I found to fix it was during qualifying if this has happened I'd send them out for another run & not get in someone's way, the faster time would then still count & they'd be in the race.
Never had anyone start a race & vanish though.

AI cars sometimes disappear from qualifying on some of the faster circuits like Hockenheim and Monza. Using the always-on customisation mode people have found out that the AI has generated wing setup values that are in the negatives, which causes the cars to self-destruct and disappear during qualifying.
Haven't seen this happen with a team I've controlled though.
