Every now and then i play GPW, i always liked the idea to play live races without simulate them or using "accelerate time" option because it seems to me they are too much random about retire and car performance, but they last almost an hour so i never did that...until now. finally i found a way to do it, i tested only for one race and seems ok, i don't know if someone already said it on the forum but i only find the "speed up" tool option and that's not what i want. Pratically it's all about install DxWnd, it's a software that is generally used to play in windowed mode old games in new OS, and find some option that modify the time inside the game (i don't know how it works exactly). 1- link to download DxWnd sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/2- tutorial on how start a game using DxWnd www.play-old-pc-games.com/compatibility-tools/using-dxwnd/3- after you successfully "mounted" GPW inside DxWnd, enable the "expert mode" under the option tab 4- right click on GPW icon, then click "modify" 5- select the "timing" tab, you should see the "time stretching" section, i enabled the first two options inside that section and x4 in the selector, i tested a race in the 2022mod and cars did a lap in around 18seconds (lap time 1m50s) hope it helps someone

This has been for years my only way to play GPW indeed. Time-stretching with Dxwnd is one of the best things that has ever happened to the game!
