Hi all, First off...I'm Nik, an avid fan of Microprose games back in the day! A little fact for you, i originally had the Original Grand Prix game on my first ever PC which was built by.....Anthony Hamilton (father of LH!). During the 90's, i eventually moved onto GP2, Gp3 and GP4 (early 2000's) and of course...GPM2! Now I have a new windows 11 gaming laptop and my IT skills are i would say 'intermediate' but i had a quick go at installing GPM2 and it didn't work. I sort that Wing file issue but it wouldn't go much further than that. Is there a thread on here to show how you install it on Win11? I've noticed a website selling these games (GP, GP2, GPM and GPM2) and the guy guarentee's he can help you get them running on Win 11 but i thought i'd ask on here first. Or i was thinking of buying a cheap Win XP laptop to play retro games! Thanks in advance.

That's so cool, having a PC built by Lewis Hamilton's dad!
I don't have a PC running Windows 11 (I could "upgrade" my laptop to it, but I'm not in a rush), so I'm going by with how it is to make GPM2 work on 10. As you already mentioned that you copied WinG in the Windows\SysWOW64 folder, the next question is that did you get a popup to install DirectPlay? Because I remember that happening on 10.

It was a Tulip computer if i remember correctly! So, i've got the game running and installed the v1.02b patch but i've got a tiny window and no sound....! Is this correct?
