I don't know whats happening with this save. I'm in third season right now, have the best engine of the game (the heavier, but enough to McLaren win championships easily), my parts are very similar to McLaren too and I even use IAMACHEAT to get better parts and performance still at the mid of the grids. I don't use DO OR DIE. Another thing, my designer is the best or one of the bests, so my chassis supposed to be good to. This is the save file for who wants to give a look and try to understand what I should do. I'm thinking on change it to a more light engine and I think this is the problem. Maybe IA just doesnt care about engine weight much, but in my experience in this game is incredible important. First season was my best with poor Judd (600hp but the lightest on the grid). I had at least 4 solid victories. Don't forget to load with 1989 MOD. www.mediafire.com/file/ryz4m9jslym6kfw/lotus.gps/file

I opened your save. You have good chassis because i almost win the race at Montreal. I have already described some common advices hereThanks for the answer!! Really apreciated! Did you use Do or Die? Whitout it, this - on attachment - was my pace on Qualify. I made some mistakes with Caffi on qualify, but 1:22:232 was the best lap by far that I could reach in at least 5 attempos in this save. How could you fight for victory with this pace on Montreal? Please help me. At the beginning of the season, everything looks ok and as planned. I was the second force on the grid and have won the first of the two GPS of the season with very solid pit stops strategy. After these races, things become complicated. After Montreal, I have another solid victory on Silverston (raining, 1-2 on qualify and race without do or die). But the huge lack of pace on some tracks is bothering me a lot and I have no idea whats going on. Like Montreal. I already have tried 6 gears too, mixing Driving Aids, everything I can imagine. Ok, it's absolutely normal in my experience in this game have worst performance here and there, but nothing like this. EDIT: Still trying on Montreal. Have some improvements now. Have tried only Traction Control and Active Suspension plus the most light parts on External and some Internal too (GearBox, Steering and Cooling system). I could reach 1:21:022 on Free Practice and 1:21:622 on Qualify. If my driver have done the lap that he made on FP, he would be the 3rd on Qualify. But it was only one lap, the pace was 1:21:6 to 1:21:9. Much better than 1:22:2 with 1:22:5 as general pace. I'm wondering about your times with this save on Montreal without Do or Die and how you could fight for victory. But with 1:21:5, victory is really a possibility. Attachments:

In practice, my pace was on par with McLaren 1.20.7-1.20.8. I only changed the gearbox to a six-speed one and left the traction control, active suspension and automatic gear shift from the assistants.. At the beginning of the qualification it started to rain and both of my drivers managed to make a dry attempt. It was enough for the front row. Mansell was third, followed by Prost. Senna was unusually far. For the race, I chose a conservative strategy with two stops. Caffy retired to the first pit stop due to an accident with a backmarker. Johansson took the lead, but after his pit stop was behind Prost. Nevertheless, already in the next lap, the Swede successfully attacked and regained the lead. Everything went to Lotus’s confident victory. Unfortunately, I forgot to replace the gearbox on Johansson’s car before the race with a more reliable one. Once again, I basically do not use Do or Die in qualifications.

Once again, I basically do not use Do or Die in qualifications. After these races I have used the lighest pack on Qualify, TC+6 gears and it works well. I had fight for the title but lost on last race even with 5 points ahead Senna. Caffi retires whe he had a solid performance on 3rd position (spun off even with good tyres temp), which would be enough to be the WDC. Sadly I had no engine for next year (manufactures saying that I broke too many contracts, but it was because I have the contract lenght bug on drivers), so it was a random engine for 1992, a outdated and Judd 615HP and i'm struggling to keep a good pace again. Have some victories and fight for podium, but mainly because retires and really good pit stop strategies on race. A nice challenge, i'm loving it. Next year I will have a Renault Thanks for this TC+6 speed advice (I have forgot to use TC when I said that it was not working well, very cofuse I was after try a lot of different parts, aids and strategies lol). This with light package on qualify (keeping only suspension and transmission at the best rating possible) was enough to fight for title. I have a question. Do you reach 1:20:7 using lightest parts or something? Because the best i reach here trying this save on Montreal again was 1:20:9. I'm wondering where you getting this precious 0:200. Thanks man!
