Hi guys! I have started to run a Lotus career in the Mod for GPW by manuel . I have been running it on my MacBook Pro, so that I am able to take screenshots easily. I will post updates to this thread! I took on Lotus, it is a really big challenge! Car performance is very poor, but at the first race in Melbourne, it started to rain after about 10 minutes of the session, meaning those who set a time at the start (Me being one) had a good grid slot. Amazingly, my cars qualified 7th and 9th!

Brilliant! Hope you upgrade this! congratulations to your BIG qualy result. I included some challanges into the 1994 Mod. At Lotus, you have Money the first season, but a poor car. You get enough money the second season if you make good contracts (there is a solution, hope you find it ^^) and a car that is still a backmarker. In the first 2 Seasons, you have to prepare for the third one. You need to gain forward very fast. You have enough money to upgrade the car. Do it! ^^
7 + 9 is a very good result. A chaotic race would help you

Hahaha perfect! I mean, the rain in Qualifying was very lucky for you. Because the both Ferrari didnt made it to the Grid and some other Cars. So after that, many Drivers seem to have retired in the race. But after all, the Minardis have a faster Car than you. And you finished ahead of them! So well derserved point! And that in the first race. This gives you peace for the rest of the season. Now you can be sure youre getting a little bit more money from the FIA and your sponsors will like this, too. Well done!

Well, after the highs of R1, R2 brought me back down to earth. Lamy DNQ after failing on his first lap out in Q, whilst Herbert was 18th.

Everything is going so well, until disaster! Herbert has a problem! Dropping down the field rapidly!
Retirement is inevitable and after a weekend of ups and downs, neither driver finishes.

So sad! What about season next year? Can you make a step with the car? Are you in talks with good designers and technical directors? And do you try to update this years car? You should have money!
btw, Herbert is a talend in wet conditions. Hope you get another chance !

Chasing a Mercedes engine and about to sign Mark Blundell to drive!

Race 3 saw us qualify just outside the Top 10 with Herbert. He really is getting everything out of the Lotus right now.

An uneventful race saw us start well, Herbert taking P10 at the start. Before finishing 8th by the flag. Lamy retired again.

I wonder how quick your drivers are. The Lotus is the slowest/second slowest car. so youre results are realy good

I figured that was the best chance of getting any points! Although Lamy isn't very happy about it!
I should try that!

After a torrid race at a wet Monaco....
I have secured a 2 year WORKS deal with Mercedes for 1995 and 1996! Big news!

Congratulations! The Mercedes Engine will not be very strong. Like in real life they take some time to get on pace. But the Workscontract should rescue your team for another 2 years, and you are able to develope the engine. So at the start of the season your engine will have not much power, but solid relability and weight and you can improve. You and mercedes together!^^ Interisting deal!
