For sure, it is this one:
gpmplanet.proboards.com/thread/94/gp-manager-browsergameI develope it as a browser game, because todays browsers are more powerfull then every computer 10 years ago. And there are more good things with browsergames:
-No compatibility problems.
-No need for a special system. Win 7? 10? Linux? Mac? Smartphone? Tablet? Hell the game will eat everything!
-No download or installation needed.
-Real time Multiplayer
....And alot more!
What can i tell you about it?
It will be in the style of GPM2 and GrandPrixWorld. We all play this games cause of the love of detail.
But the technic behind it will be very new, the simulation will be full synchronized and live calculated, so we get real time races at all circuits.
The talking to sponsors will be a little bit different. I want progress as is GPW, but i think every engine manufactor would give you engines if you pay just enough. So if Mercedes dont wants to give you engines, they just tell you "oh yeah its 50 Million a year".
Also i think about different types. GPW has Works- Partner- and Costumer deals. I think about real contracts and negotiations. Like: Yeah we do a Partner deal, but our third driver has to get a cockpit in your team next year. Or, upgrades only for money. There are so much options! Sometimes i wake up at night and write something down^^
whats the stand?
We just started a couple of days ago. First, we created the world. You can see it here:
repl.it/@sven1987h/F1#main.pyYou click run at the top, and on the right you can type in numbers. Its german, but thats just the simulation in the background. If you told him how much teams, how much rounds and which time, he will give you a weather forecast. Like: rain incoming for 40%! If it rans, he tells you how much rounds, how long, and how long it will be wet after rain stopped. Also it tells you how warm it is. So yeah, the enviroment is done. Its not ready! We plan more then just rain. We will have light rain, heavy and even monsum rain malaysia 2001 like!
We also work on the visualisation now. You can see it here:
62.75.211.27/sven/As you can see, we use real sattelite pictures of real tracks. But its under progress in this moment, so it will change alot. Yesterday we added a pitlight. So we can simulate a closed pit.
I could write for hours what we plan and what we do, but thats not interisting as long as there is nothing to show^^ it will take weeks and weeks more to complete it. But our hearts are just made for Motorsport Manager games and this project is alot of fun, too!
